Quality products but slow employee reaction 2 needs of efficiency of time for consumers. Many departments are not doing much to assist others.
So I'm happy that they make things right with the customer. I'm disappointed their quality is such an issue that they have to make up for it with discounts. I'd much rather pay the normal price and get the correct items in good condition the 1st time, than get a discount and have to check up on everything I order from them. It's a waste of time and costs more in the long run.
Very helpful in both departments! I also did not know but I get 10% off being military dependent. When I lived in Dubuque Iowa I did all of my new kitchen appliances through Lowe's. I will be using them again soon I am sure. Thank you for an enjoyable visit to your store.
I called twice having problems with my gas stove purchase and was put off the first two times. Today I just had it with the darn thing so I called again only to be told I was two weeks off my 30 days able to return, although I had been told 90 days. I am so upset. This is THE ABSOLUTE worst stove I have ever owned. You barely move near the handles and the stove goes on, the burners don't function properly...on the larger burners its either raging high or pretty high. I burn everything and the oven is off as well. Its a gas stove...who burns food on a gas stove? Well, I do now. Ugh, disgusted. Worse yet the whole putting me off...I have to let the whatever burn off, which gave an awful smell and smoke...ok nope that didn't work...I had to let it self regulate...nope that either...try not to stand in front of the stove like I'm supposed to cook from the side? Only to find out they really just wanted the warranty to run off. I should have just brought it back like I had wanted because now I am stuck with this awful thing that makes me hate cooking anything. I was just warming up soup while typing this...yeah, burned to the freaking bottom on low. Don't ever buy a Whirlpool five burner convection gas stove...ever. And don't buy your appliances at Lowe's because their company ethics are not in the best interests of their customers. I can't believe I fell for it.

I have a love hate relationship with this store. I have to assume anytime I order something they will mess up the order or send me a broken product the first time.
When we ordered our flooring through them they sold us something they no longer produced. They didn't catch it till I called a month later when the order was supposed to be ready. When I called they realized the mistake and allowed us to pick a product one step up for the same price. Which was nice of them, but I couldn't believe they had sold us 2 grand in product they no longer produced.
So my wife and I picked out a new flooring that was a step above what we had ordered for the same price which was awesome. The only problem is they messed up that order as well. Luckily I only waited a week to check up this time. The third time was the charm on the flooring. They did add a discount to the flooring but the process took an additional month to get everything. I had taken time off work to do the flooring and had to reschedule to accommodate their mistake.
Since they made it right by discounting the flooring my wife and I went back and bought our appliances there. I just received the dishwasher after waiting two weeks on a special order. They delivered a broken dishwasher to me. I will now have to wait an additional 2 weeks to get the dish washer plus plan 2 additional times away from work so they can pick up the broken one and then deliver the new one. They said they would discount the order but I'm waiting to see if that happens.
On the whole the people are nice at this store and they usually make things right when they mess up. I don't like that every time I go there I need to plan twice the normal amount of time to get the product I've already paid them for. I hope that their quality check improves on high dollar items or I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a pain to always have to check up on my purchases or return broken items and wait for the correct item.
