Got scheduled two months out for severe foot pain but waited it out anyway, day of appointment got pushed back another two because they were busy and I’m still a new patient. I’ll spend my time and money elsewhere.
Inside the clinics, the modern and updated clinics are aimed at making the entire patient experience more efficient. The pharmacy located on the first floor is integrated with the clinics upstairs and is aimed at saving patients time during their visit.
The building has an immense number of windows, has a large number of open areas in and outside the building and plenty of seating throughout.

Overall, IRL is a great addition to UIHC and gives patients more efficient access to their providers as well as a reason to hit up the new establishments nearby.

RL as it is affectionately known is the most recent addition to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The new outpatient clinic building boasts both primary care and specialty clinics in a more convenient location with plenty of parking and nextdoor to the Iowa River Landing development.
Dr. Abou-Arab is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. They all helped make a horrible situation just that much easier to deal with, and for that I'll always be grateful.
