If you work hard for your money and do not want to voluntarily give this to a plummer who does half the job, DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!
This guy has one thing in mind... taking as much money from you as he can. He does not listen to what you want, gives incomplete quotes, and once he starts the job, he will NOT finish it unless you pay extra $$$. We also had a gap (2 1/2 inch deep) under our bathtub. His solution to close the gap is to drop-of a bag of concrete at my doorstep, so I could finish the job.
I have never ever had such a bad experience with a company in my life before. I will never use their services again..
My wife and I have a new home in Iowa City. The toilets installed by Mulford Plumbing don't flush properly. Toilet tissue sticks to the side of the bowl. You have to flush two to three times while scraping the side of the bowl with a toilet brush. Mulford says it is a standard bowl that meets federal guidelines. That seems to be their standard response. It was the same response we received from Rich Hatch - the builder from SouthGate who hired Mulford. They use substandard toilets to make a quick buck. They have horrible service.
Noticed our water heater was leaking after dinner. Called Mulford around 7 pm and they were able to come and replace unit the next day at a fair price. Would definitely use them again.
Listen to other bad reviews. They were late for appointment and charge not only for labor but also time spent to just drive to your house. Definately won't use again as they are lots other available servicers we have used before with better service.
